The 500MW round was slightly undersubscribed, with wind and solar developers entering 423.5MW of projects.
Wind projects with a combined capacity of 405.9MW secured contracts, according to state agency Gestore dei Servizi Energetici (GSE) — less than the 495MW awarded to wind in the first tender, which was announced in January.
Discounts ranged between 2.3% and 18.7% below the reference tariff of €70/MWh — corresponding to a price range of €56.91-68.31/MWh.
This represents an increase from the €48.62-67.00/MWh range seen in Italy’s first joint technology tender earlier this year.
Enel Green Power was one of the successful developers in the latest round, securing 68MW of new wind power capacity, plus 38.3MW of repowering projects.https://www.windpowermonthly.com/article/1684954/onshore-wind-dominates-latest-italian-energy-tender
