{"id":1235,"date":"2022-07-11T11:56:05","date_gmt":"2022-07-11T08:56:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ege-windturbines.com\/en\/?p=1235"},"modified":"2022-07-11T11:56:09","modified_gmt":"2022-07-11T08:56:09","slug":"eurowind-energy-plans-2-5gw-wind-solar-green-hydrogen-energy-centres-in-denmark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ege-windturbines.com\/en\/2022\/07\/11\/eurowind-energy-plans-2-5gw-wind-solar-green-hydrogen-energy-centres-in-denmark\/","title":{"rendered":"Eurowind Energy plans 2.5GW Wind-Solar-Green Hydrogen \u2018Energy Centres\u2019 in Denmark"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Danish renewables developer Eurowind Energy is planning five onshore \u2018energy centres\u2019 comprising wind turbines, solar PV, batteries and power-to-x facilities spread across Denmark.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the future it also plans to include biogas and hydrogen refining within the parks.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The energy parks will have a combined capacity of approximately 2.5GW, though Eurowind Energy has not confirmed the capacity of each project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">North Jutland-based Eurowind has entered into agreements with landowners for Energipark Aalborg, in Aalborg (in the north of Denmark\u2019s large Jutland peninsula),N\u00f8rrek\u00e6r Enge II in Vesthimmerland and Aalborg; Energipark Overgaard in Randers (central Jutland), Energipark Gasse Hede and Vollum Enge in T\u00f8nder (southern Jutland).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Energipark Aalborg is due to comprise 19 wind turbines with tip heights of 150 metres and 3.75 km<sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0of solar PV in Aalborg, as well as 15 turbines with tip heights of 150 metres in neighbouring Br\u00f8nderslev. Eurowind Energy is seeking permitting approval from both Aalborg and Br\u00f8nderslev municipalities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"advertCentre\">\n<div id=\"c501Ad\" class=\"commercialSlot\" data-location-code=\"C\" data-sizes=\"300x250\" data-google-query-id=\"COSny-S68PgCFYfuuwgdfygKzQ\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 300;\">The N\u00f8rrek\u00e6r Enge II site is due to feature 40 turbines with tip heights of 170 metres, located in Vesthimmerland and Aalborg municipalities. Eurowind Energy is in talks with the municipalities and is planning solar PV\u2019s role in the project<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Overgaard Energy Park already features Denmark&#8217;s largest onshore wind farm, with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.windpowermonthly.com\/intelligence\/fc59d688-84b6-5acc-2114-78b9de7609c9\">58MW Overgaard 1 &#8211; phase I<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.windpowermonthly.com\/intelligence\/7b8fd788-968b-0967-829b-9cffc58ec5e3\">36MW Overgaard 1 &#8211; phase II<\/a>\u00a0projects there already operational.
